Announcement: Long Night of Sciences 23.04.2026

Long Night of the Sciences on April 23, 2026: Experience Research Up Close

On April 23, 2026, the Long Night of the Sciences invites visitors of all ages to explore the world of research and discovery. For one evening, science steps out of lecture halls and laboratories and becomes tangible, accessible, and engaging.

The diverse program is aimed at families, school students, university students, and all curious members of the public who are interested in learning more about current research. Hands-on experiments, short talks, interactive formats, and personal conversations with researchers offer accessible insights into scientific topics and highlight the relevance of research in everyday life.

At the same time, researchers are warmly invited to contribute their own program ideas to the Long Night of the Sciences. Online submission of contributions will open in February 2026. The focus is on formats that present research in an approachable, inclusive, and dialogue-oriented way.

The Long Night of the Sciences provides a unique platform for exchange between science and society and offers researchers the opportunity to present their work to a broad audience. We look forward to a vibrant evening and to many inspiring contributions.
