The next Physics Day will take place on March 3, 2026, at the Institute of Physics at the University of Rostock.
We warmly invite all interested students in grades 9–12 to take part.
School registrations are now open and can be completed via the registration button on the Rostock Physics Day website.
In addition to the Lighthouse Competition, where teams will compete for the Lighthouse Trophy and the title of the brightest physics minds in the country, we are already preparing a comprehensive program. This includes an experimentarium, guided tours of laboratories and teaching facilities, lectures, and our popular demonstration lecture.
Participants will gain insights into our research areas and everyday student life at the Institute. Groups of students will be guided through all areas by students and researchers, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and engage in lively discussion.
