The Team of SFB LiMatI

Our interdisciplinary team currently consists of 89 dedicated researchers working together on the exciting and challenging projects of the Collaborative Research Center LiMatI. The CRC is based at the University of Rostock, with an important secondary location at the Max Born Institute in Berlin.

The team members bring international experience and perspectives from a wide range of scientific disciplines to the Collaborative Research Center.
In addition to 53 doctoral candidates, 21 project leaders, and 15 postdoctoral researchers, our team also includes supportive administrative assistants as well as research support and technical staff.

The diversity and international orientation of our team are among our greatest strengths.
Approximately one-third of our researchers come from 15 different countries: Egypt, Algeria, China, France, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, Pakistan, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
This cultural diversity fosters creative exchange and significantly contributes to innovation in our research.
