That was Science@Sail 2023

"Knowledge in sight!" was the motto at the Hanse Sail 2023, when the University of Rostock presented itself together with the Thünen Institute for Baltic Sea Fisheries and the Research Institute for Farm Animal Research Dummerstorf for the first time in the city harbor with the Science@Sail campus. From August 10 to 13, 2023, the university showed visitors of the Hanse Sail how diverse campus life and how fascinating science can be.

This year, the University of Rostock presented not only physics, but also many other disciplines. A varied program with exhibitions, lectures and children and family activities awaited the visitors between the restaurants Panoramico and CarLo615. In addition, the university's own research catamaran "Limanda" could be visited at the pier in front of the campus. At the children's raffle there was the possibility to win an excursion with the "Limanda".
