In project Ö, we will do outreach in the spirit of  "Explaining Science to Everyone" (Es2Eve). We will develop and implement the Rostock Photonlab for high school pupils and integrate it as a modern physics branch into our extra-curricular Lehr-Lern-Labor PhySch ("Physik und Schule"). We will involve PhDs, teacher students and teachers, and use diverse platforms and scientific events to translate the scientists’ fundamental research within LiMatI into appropriate formats. Our aims are to fascinate, inspire and engage the next generation of students and researchers, to promote sustainable education and qualification of teacher students, and to increase the visibility and awareness of science to the general public.
