Every year on the first Tuesday in March, the Institute of Physics opens its lecture halls, laboratories and workshops to interested pupils in grades 9-12 (registration required).
In addition to the lighthouse competition, in which the smartest physics minds in our country compete for the lighthouse cup, there is an extensive all-round program with an experimentarium, laboratory and practical tours, lectures and our great show lecture. We are happy to provide insights into our research areas and everyday life at our institute. The groups of pupils are guided through all areas by students and researchers and have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a good exchange.
