Engaging stories, surprising experiments, and plenty of physics know-how – all of this comes together in the demonstration lecture “Superposition of Morality (and a Fish)”, which will premiere at this year’s Physics Day.
A demonstration lecture is far more than a traditional academic class: in a specially developed theatrical production, the participants tell an exciting story that conveys physical concepts in a creative way. Impressive live experiments are carried out, both entertaining the audience and clearly explaining how physics shapes our everyday lives.
Let yourself be transported to the Middle Ages, where the young Dorian Blue wanders through the streets in search of money to free his uncle Henry from a dark dungeon. Alongside the magician Basil, he experiences adventurous encounters and learns about the unpredictability of gambling. Time and again, Dorian is confronted with moral dilemmas, while little angels and devils whisper insistently in his ears, trying to guide his actions. Join us on an exciting journey!
