Venue
The conference will be held in the lecture hall building of the Institute of Physics at the University of Rostock. The Institute is part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Rostock. The institute buildings are located on the Südstadt-Campus. The research building (no. 23) houses research laboratories, offices and the physics didactics department. Lecture halls and practical rooms can be found in the lecture hall building (no. 24).

Arrival by train
From Hamburg or Berlin
You can reach Rostock by public transportation with Deutsche Bahn.
There are regular regional trains (RE) and intercity trains (IC).

Arrival by car
From Hamburg
From the A20 highway, take exit 15 "Rostock Südstadt". After approx. 6 km you will reach Rostock on Nobelstraße. At the end of Nobelstraße, turn left onto Südring. After 900 m turn right into Albert-Einstein-Straße. After about 400m you will find the Institute of Physics on the left-hand side.
Parking is available on the roadside and in the parking lot behind the buildings.
From Berlin
Take the A19 highway to the Rostock junction and then take the A20 in the direction of Lübeck. From the A20 highway, take exit 15 "Rostock Südstadt". After approx. 6 km you will reach Rostock on Nobelstraße. At the end of Nobelstraße, turn left onto Südring. After 900 m turn right into Albert-Einstein-Straße. After about 400m you will find the Institute of Physics on the left-hand side.

Within Rostock
From Rostock main station to venue
Take the Tram 4 or Tram 6 in the direction of "Rostock Campus Südstadt" and get off at the last stop "Campus Südstadt". Cross the two-lane Südring in the direction of Albert-Einstein-Straße and follow it for approx. 400 m until you reach the institute complex.
Take the Tram 5 in the direction of "Südblick/Südstadt" and get off at the stop "Rostock Erich-Schlesinger-Straße". Walk along Erich-Schlesinger-Straße in the direction of the shopping center "Kaufland" and turn into Albert-Einstein-Straße at the traffic circle. After about 500 m you will reach the Institute of Physics.
You will find the bus station on the south side of the main station. Here you can take Bus 39 in the direction of "Rostock S Lütten Klein" and get off at stops "Rostock Joachim-Jungius-Straße", "Rostock Beim Pulverturm" or "Campus Südstadt" almost right outside the door.
